Fabulous Aquariums!

We have an amazing freshwater fish tank with 2 stingrays, an eel and 2 ghostknife fish.

Before we had the tank I really couldn't appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into keeping the fish happy.

When I see an amazing tank it always makes me wonder who cleans it and how long it takes for them to keep everything running well.

Mentalfloss.com has a neat collection of unbelievable tanks.

Here are a few...

Pieter van Suijlekom’s aquarium is a saltwater tank system with a total volume of 2074 gallons. This marvel is Pieter's 5th design, he is a hobbiest from the Netherlands.

Placed at the lobby of the Radisson SAS Hotel in Berlin, the 25 meters high AquaDom is the largest cylindrical aquarium ever built. Filled with about 900,000 liters of seawater, it contains some 2600 fish of 56 species.

This in the wall tank belongs to Quoc Hoang. It is 220-gallons that sits in the garage, but is viewed through the living room. Quoc had the tank custom built when he had his house built.
