Sisley's Irresponsible Ad Campaign

The world is a buzz about Sisley, The Italian Fashion House's, new ad campaign that features a pair of models 'snorting' the straps of a white dress like it is a line of coke.

A white 'powdery' substance sits off to the side with a credit card underneath it, which also adds to the inappropriate nature of the campaign.

Here's my take..It is irresponsible of this company to portray that doing hard drugs like coke is so common that it could go up on a billboard.

I don't want to see a pair of anorexic girls with straws in their hands looking zoned out in my fashion mag.

It is wrong for this company to glamorize such an addictive, life destroying habit.

Why do you look at it from the blackest side possible? It's not about glamourizing cocaine abuse, it's not about cocaine, it's a joke about fashion and last of all even if this were glamourizing purely cocaine usage cocaine isn't life destroying for many users. The fact that you point at cocaine the instant you see someone with a straw up her nose says something about your idea of drugs, and how you glamourized coke.
